Fitting It Altogether newsletter is a new publication that is going to get you excited about apparel sewing. We’ll give you information that will help you create garments you’ll not only love, but wear, too!

Each issue we publish will have a theme. We’ll give you information that centers on that theme from the standpoint of patternmaking (a huge time-saver if you don’t enjoy fitting and much easier that you probably think), flattering styles for your body lines from today’s fashion trends, an embellishment technique that compliments the issue’s theme garments (with variations to flatter different body lines) as well as current fashion trends, tips, techniques, book/pattern/notion reviews and more! 

For example, our free preview issue’s theme is building a wardrobe. First we provide you with information on how to determine what body lines you have and which garment styles are most flattering to them. Then we show you how to use this information to plan a wardrobe that not only flatters your body lines, but will work for any occasion. We also introduce you to an independent pattern company whose products are designed to be purchased by your body shape, so you can sew flattering clothes fast, with a minimal amount of time spent on fitting. Our embellishment project will enable you to create a one of a kind scarf that will not only flatter, but is fun to sew and sure to garner you compliments.

As a bonus for you we are including in our free preview newsletter a five-minute exercise, or experiment, if you will, that will convince you how easy patternmaking is. In fact, the exercise is so fast you’ll spend more of the five minutes gathering your tools and cutting out the miniature patterns than you will on the patternmaking.
