You should expect fit, flattery, fashion and fun when you sew! Let me help you put the various puzzle pieces of sewing together so you’ll enjoy what you sew even more than you already do.  My mission is to make skillful sewing fun and enjoyable for apparel sew-ers.

 I bring a perspective to sewing few people can claim. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Design and have worked in several areas of the apparel industry: as an assembly-line seamstress, an alterations specialist, a custom clothier, an apparel patternmaker, a college sewing instructor and director/chief instructor of my own sewing school. In addition, I have professional training and experience in writing, editing and publishing.
